The Construction Futures Forum – Excellence in Industry will be held at the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton on Thursday 6th December 2018 from 7.30 am until 1.00 pm.

The event is designed for professionals with an interest in the future of construction and includes prominent guest speakers who will talk on themes affecting the UK construction industry.

Professor Mohammed Arif, Head of the School of Construction and the Built Environment at the University, said:

“Our aim through this forum is to facilitate discussions on current and future topics in the UK construction industry as well as to exchange knowledge, expertise and practice in the sector.

“The University is committed to forging stronger links between industry and academia around future research and training needs in construction.

“Our £100 million investment in the Springfield Brewery regeneration project, which includes building a new School of Architecture and Built Environment, is creating one of Europe’s largest specialist construction and built environment campuses, bringing together businesses and the education sector to maximise impact on the economy.”

Keynote speakers at the event include Mark Farmer, author of Farmer’s Review and the Chief Executive Officer of Cast Real Estate and Construction, Kate Hall, Design Director for HS2 Limited and Chris Blythe, Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
